Yoga for Youth Teacher Certification Description
Too many young people are struggling to make sense out of life. Hundreds and thousands of them have discovered that yoga gives them a chance to understand and respond more appropriately to the challenges they face on a daily basis. This course will help you become a more creative and effective teacher to this sensitive yet open population of young people. We will explore some of the most effective approaches to presenting postures and Asanas that positively affect the nervous system; the use of breath to calm the mind; mantra to obtain a state of emotional neutrality; and meditation to balance and help clear away self defeating habits.
Led by Krishna Kaur E-RYT, who has been working with and teaching youth for more then a decade, the course is fun, creative and stimulating. We’ll laugh a little and maybe wipe few tears, but the journey to becoming a more authentic person and teacher elevates us all.
