YOGA for Youth provides our youth with the tools for self discovery that foster hope, discipline and respect
for self, others and community. One 17 year-old boy at Camp Kilpatrick says, “I’m constantly stressing out about staying out of trouble. Yoga helps me relax.”
Michael from Camp Miller says, “Yoga helps you deal with rage – it calms your heart. I like it.”

The practice of yoga teaches troubled youth to quiet their minds and achieve insight into how their choices affect themselves and others. Providing children and adolescents access to tools that allow them to break the cycle of crime, violence, and incarceration is a gift that will last a lifetime.
Thanks to Y.O.G.A. for Youth, their future is inspired by hope and our world becomes a safer place for everyone. Thanks to you and your compassionate, heartfelt generosity, more of these youngsters will become the change they want to see in the world.
